It is one of my favourite dips to add to my snacks such as; crackers, bread and dip my carrots and celery in it. Keep in mind when you are having hummus, pre-packaged is not always the best option. If you make it at home you know what ingredients are being used. Buying it from the store it is often packed with salts and preservatives. Here is a super easy recipe to DIY hummus.
Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Juice from 1/2 large lemon
- 1 garlic clove
- Optional: Chilli and paprika for spice!
Directions
- Blend ingredients.
- Serve with vegetables, pita chips, or snack of your choice.
